Another Camera to back up our 4K revolution March 27, 2014

The Blackmagic 4K cinema camera is now in the kit room and available for hire at Media Dog. We shall be testing it fully over the next few days, but in the mean time here are some pictures of the beast with one of our rather sexy looking Canon 14mm  cini primes mounted on the front, at last you can get a wide shot as theres no crop sensor!

Media Dog hangs out with Philip Bloom March 25, 2014

On last nights Gadget Show, Mark form Media Dog was hanging out with Cinematographer and DSLR champion Philip Bloom as they tested editing software using a multitude of cameras. Shooting Warwick Business School Graphics March 17, 2014

Today with the aid of our Kino Flo Celeb light, Odyssey 7Q and some fishing wire, we have shot some fancy slow motion graphics for our film promoting Warwick Business School’s Executive MBA. We had some fun, but now I’m writing this just to put off getting the white Lastolite back in it’s bag.

Good Bye ITV Granada Quay Street March 17, 2014

Goodbye studio 12! Media Dog’s Rob says his final goodbye to his old haunt ITV’s Granada’s Quay street studios, the oldest purpose-built television studios in the United Kingdom. Now ITV Granada has moved to it’s new base at Media City UK in Salford Quays, building an entire new Coronation Street set in the process. BBC Gardeners’ World grow relationship with Media Dog March 14, 2014
